Paper Trimming Calculator — Pieces Per Sheet

Work out how many pieces you can cut from a sheet with minimal waste.

Material lost per cut (typically 0-1 mm)

How We Calculate This

The calculator checks both orientations of your desired piece on the parent sheet and reports the arrangement that yields the most pieces.

For each orientation it calculates: columns = floor(sheet width / piece width) and rows = floor(sheet height / piece height), then total pieces = columns x rows.

Blade width (kerf) is added to piece dimensions when calculating fitting, but not to the finished piece size. Waste percentage is based on the unused sheet area.
